Historic Route 66 has a history worthy of researching in advance of your trip across the country.  Keep in mind, you will visit each of the major cities listed above on your way east as you ride through history creating memories of your own that will last a life time.

At this point in your cross country journey you have been on your bike for twelve of fourteen days. From the ocean you have crossed the California Desert, climbed Yarnel Pass and Mingus Mountain….and, in the middle of a memorable descent you were treated to lunch at the Haunted Hamburger. After seeing the red rocks of Sedona you were seen STANDIN’ ON THE CORNER IN WINSLOW, ARIZONA. And after crossing the Continental Divide you crossed the Rio Grande.

All of this before you reached Santa Fe, NM.

Impressive.  You are now a rock star on wheels!
