Flat and straight would describe today’s short 64 mile ride. A bit of a head wind early, but a good ride!

It’s interesting as we ride across the country to see how the many small communities commentate our veterans. Today was no exception.

SAG this morning was at a Dairy Queen that has always been open early. To our surprise, they were closed until 11:00 this morning, but the owner came out, greeted us, and opened so riders could use the facilities. Very nice.

Tomorrow ends this nine day section of the tour as we head for a rest day in Junction City.
