Heading for Indio means climbing out of Riverside before finding a few miles of flats and then SAG 1.  After that, its another climb that allows each rider to realize they’ve made the decision to challenge themselves.  Look at these smiles!  On past the windmills farms just before Palm Springs and then to the hotel, this was a day when everyone’s legs started to warm up and feel both the challenge and the satisfaction of the first days of tour.
